And yep, Brain is my surname.

There are worse human organs to have as a surname, but it's pretty handy for me seeing as I work in a creative job.

Born and bred in Shakespeare's county, but now living on the Surrey/West Sussex border, I've been an Art Director, Designer and – more recently – a Creative Consultant for just under three decades.

Over the years, I've worked with clients big and small, across many different sectors: Integrated advertising, B2B, Customer Relationship Marketing, and Recruitment Advertising and Communications. I've been there, done that, licked the stamp for DM packs, and flicked the shelf-wobbler.

Through it all, what I've loved is getting to know clients, rolling my sleeves up, and getting stuck into solving their creative conundrums, whatever they may be.

I engage deeply with clients to unearth the real issues, then turn that into work people actually notice and remember. I aim to change minds with work that is consistently thought-provoking, sometimes fun, sometimes award-winning – and sometimes all of that at the same time.
